Syracuse basketball’s season ended disappointingly in the first round of the NCAA tournament. However, the future is bright. Inside the Loud House shares seven bold predictions for next season.

Syracuse basketball’s 2018-2019 season was a rollercoaster. Heck, that even might be selling it short. To do this season justice one must only look to a Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens; “It was the best of times, it was the first of times.” Such words aren’t meant for basketball, but given the context, they’ll suffice.

The Orange had high points like a huge victory early in the season on the road at Ohio State, and an enormous mammoth of a win against Duke at their place. Unfortunately, though we cannot forget losses to Old Dominion, Georgia Tech, and Baylor to end the season. All of those games should have gone the Orange’s way, but for whatever reason, they didn’t.

Now that the season over we’ll all be wondering as fans what could have been. This team had loads of talent but just struggled to consistently play well together. Maybe the expectations were set too high, who knows, but all there’s left to do is look ahead.

No one really wants to hear about next season so fresh off a heart-crushing loss. However, there are so many good things next season might have in store! So here are seven bold predictions to get you optimistic for next season.
