Final 4

If Syracuse is able to get through this incredulous journey they will have reached the Final Four for the sixth time in Jim Boeheim’s tenure as Syracuse head coach. This season for the Orange has been a hell of a roller coaster.

They lost four nonconference games and for the first time in Boeheim’s tenure, he was able to take a team that did that to the NCAA tournament. On the other side of the coin, Syracuse had some incredible highs beating Duke at Cameron Indoor, beating Louisville, and winning at Ohio State.

Then the roller coaster inevitably came back down too with Syracuse losing four out of their last six games. Syracuse made it to the Sweet 16 with a depleted roster last season and this year they returned all five starters (for the first time since 1999) and added some star talent: Buddy Boeheim, Elijah Hughes, and promising prospect Jalen Carey. So perhaps another run is in the works?

Regardless of whether you believe Syracuse can make a run to the Final Four, here is the path they’ll have to take. Share your thoughts below on this potential Final Four run or perhaps reminisce about one of your favorites in the comments below!
