The bracket has been revealed and the path is now clear for the Syracuse basketball squad to get back to the Final Four. Here’s how they get there.

It’s already time for March Madness and Syracuse basketball fans have come to expect their appearance in the annual big dance. Credit Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim for creating that reality.

Some teams are making their appearance in the NCAA tournament for the first time in years. While the Orange have only missed the tournament nine times in Boeheim’s coaching tenure (twice were ineligible).

"Sports Illustrated Realtime Brackets is the first bracket game that lets college basketball fans switch their picks, in exchange for points, between and during live tournament games to keep their brackets alive all month long. Sign up now!"

Boeheim has led the Orange to the Final Four five times in his career:

  • 1987
  • 1996
  • 2003
  • 2013
  • 2016

Could 2019 be the sixth time for coach Boeheim? The Orange have an experienced roster, depth, and a healthy Tyus Battle. If Syracuse is going to make it to the Final Four here is the path they’ll have to take through the western region.
