The Syracuse basketball team is heading into the ACC tournament, but what do they have to do if anything to be in NCAA tourney? We discuss here.

The regular season is in the books for the Syracuse basketball squad. The Orange lost four out of their last five games but the level of competition was intense against three top-five teams. But now what?

Some argue the Orange are already in the tournament, but there’s some speculation that there’s more work to be done. Despite the experts penning the Orange anywhere from a 7 to an 11 seed, there’s the optic that SU is playing cold right now.

But that can all change in the ACC tournament which starts on Tuesday. Syracuse has locked up a single bye and the No. 6 seed in the tourney. The Orange will play the winner of No. 11 Boston College and No. 14 Pittsburgh.

But what do they have to do in the tournament to secure their place in March Madness? Do they need to win any games at all or are they already safe? So many questions, so few answers. We polled our expert panel to share their thoughts in the following slideshow. Check out our predictions here, then share your own thoughts in the comments below!
