Syracuse basketball will play the Duke Blue Devils in the Carrier Dome on Saturday night. Here are the five things YOU NEED TO KNOW before tip.
On Saturday night in the Carrier Dome we have the biggest game of the college basketball season between the Syracuse basketball squad and the Duke Blue Devils. This will be the highest attended game in college basketball history with a ton of story-lines at the forefront.
With the most important being far greater than basketball with a life being lost in a tragic car accident late Wednesday night, to catch up on all the details visit here.
But aside from that, from a pure basketball standpoint there are several nuggets that have come up this week:
- Zion Williamson will not be playing in this game on Saturday.
- Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim will be with his team coaching in this ACC rematch.
- No College GameDay for this matchup with consideration to the horrible tragedy earlier in the week. The game will still be broadcast on ESPN with tip-off set for 6:00 p.m.
With all of that being considered we sat down with Ball Durham Site Expert Kevin Connelly (FanSided sister network covering all things Duke related) to discover the five things we need to know ahead of tip. Check out the next five slides and share your thoughts in the comments below!
