1. Rick Pitino was a legend with Louisville, how has Chris Mack come in and continued that success despite the massive shoes to fill?

"Rick Pitino was an amazing coach who did a lot of great things at Louisville, but it was time for a change after everything that happened. I believe there wasn’t a better fit out there than Chris Mack. His personality as a person and as a coach are what make him so special. He is the same guy every single day, and never shies away from a big moment or big stage – meaning no opponent is too big for him. A lot of the times things were about Rick, and not his teams, and that is the polar opposite with Mack. He’s brought in a new culture that has changed the program inside and out in a good way. The culture is built on playing for the guy next to you and staying tough regardless of the situation. No one expected Mack to take a team with 10 scholarship players, including 3 grad transfers, and have them contending for a top 4 seed in the ACC – but here we are. Mack is a special coach, who deserves to be recognized nationally for his turnaround job this season."
