Mat Mlodzinski (17-7)
Prediction: Syracuse wins 74-69

This could be the biggest game on Cuse’s schedule.

It’s not a must win, but going into a stretch of Louisville, Duke, and UNC, this would be a HUGE win for the Orange.

The Wolfpack go by Torin Dorn, a guard who rebounds well. However, he’s not an extremely gifted scorer, at just under 14 points a contest, so Tyus Battle and co. won’t have their hands full as much as they did with Ky Bowman. Nonetheless, they will need to defend the perimeter, as NC State has seven guys that shoot 29% or better from (min. 10 shots attempted).

On offense, SU has been much better as of late but will have to be on against a stingy NC State defense. They will have to make big shots and attack the paint and look to kick out to create open shots. It may be a grind, but it will be needed for the win.

The win would but Cuse in golden position at 18-7 (9-3) with a big week against Louisville and Duke coming up.
