The Syracuse basketball team has an ACC matchup vs Georgia Tech squeezed in before they travel to play Duke on Monday. Here’s what you need to know.

These teams had very different expectations heading into the 2018-19 season. On one hand the Syracuse basketball squad had a deep March Madness tournament vacation plan in the works. After making it all the way to the Sweet 16 with a depleted roster, expectations grew with every new piece the Orange added.

While that would be the same story for Georgia Tech if you left the video on rewind. The Yellow Jackets had so many talented players on the team last year and they lost over 40 points per game of production (Josh Okogie, Tadric Jackson, and Ben Lammers: accounted for 42.6 points per game)
