Syracuse Basketball: Predictions for St. Bonaventure showdown

Prediction: Syracuse wins 80-66

Last year’s Bonnies team would have a fairly good shot at beating this Cuse team. After all, they did last year, against practically the same Orange roster, give or take a few players. However, with the graduation of Jaylen Adams and Matt Mobley, this St. Bony team has had nothing but struggles.

Of course, Syracuse hasn’t exactly had the start they’ve wanted, but a win against St. Bonaventure would put the Orange at 9-4 on the season, which, given how bad we’ve played at times, wouldn’t necessarily be the worst possible situation to be in.

Cuse will need to limit turnovers and possessions that run deep into the shot clock, as those seem to be what gets this team off it’s pace. If they can do that, it will be a fun game to watch and would be huge going into conference play against Notre Dame on January 5th.
