Prediction: Syracuse wins 79-76

But…but I thought this year was supposed to be different?

All the experts had Syracuse as a final four team and of course safely in the tournament. Now Syracuse has been kicked out of the top-25 (again) after their latest Old Dominion debacle.

It seems like the Orange will never get away from the bubble. Which speaking of are we back in must win territory against the Buffalo Bulls? I think it’s close.

Four nonconference losses wouldn’t be ideal and oh yeah St. Bonaventure is still on horizon before ACC play and the Bonnies bested Syracuse last season.

But before we get into the future, Syracuse has to worry about the present and presently Buffalo presents a ton of potential issues for Orange. This Buffalo team is undefeated and averages 85 points per game and Syracuse is averaging a paltry 71 points per game.

But despite the odds, Syracuse usually finds ways to win games like this. Syracuse with their backs against the wall is the best version of themselves. It’s time for the depth and talent to step up, I think it does with Syracuse winning at home.
