The Syracuse basketball team will attempt to improve their record to 8-2 on Saturday when they take on the Old Dominion Monarchs.

After their first four games of the season, the Syracuse basketball team looked a little out of sorts as they sat with a with a 2-2 record. Since then, the Orange have won five in a row, including a thriller over Georgetown last week, and they are now back to being considered among the top 25 teams in the nation.

On Saturday, Syracuse will remain at home inside the Carrier Dome for a matchup with the 7-3 Old Dominion Monarchs.

Old Dominion will be looking for an upset this week and the Orange must do what is necessary to prevent that from happening. A loss to a team like the Monarchs would likely knock Syracuse back out of the AP Top 25.

But there are not a ton of reasons to think that the Orange will be leaving their home court with a loss on Saturday. Especially with the way junior guard Tyus Battle has been playing this season.

How exactly does the staff here at Inside The Loud House believe Syracuse’s matchup with Old Dominion will turn out?
