Prediction: Syracuse wins 69-67

This game will be close, as nearly are all of the matchups between Cuse and G-Town.

The Hoyas are averaging 80 points per game, while Syracuse is only putting up about 72. Cuse has had a tougher schedule, and the zone will have an impact on how the Hoyas score the ball in this one. Nonetheless, neither will reach their average in this one.

At 7-1, Georgetown has a team that can eat down low. Jessie Govan is a 6-10, 255 freak, while Trey Mourning is just as big. Together, they combine for almost 30 PPG. Chukwu and Sidibe will have to be solid.

Syracuse however, easily wins in the backcourt, as Tyus Battle, Frank Howard, and Elijah Hughes have the length and experience that the Georgetown guards lack.

College basketball is a guards game, and because Cuse holds the advantage there, I see that to be the all in all difference maker. Cuse wins this historic rivalry in a tight one.
