Andrew Carey (4-3)
Prediction: Syracuse wins 69-44

This Northeastern game is one where I really want to see something out of the Syracuse offense. They have been morbid to start the year, and after all the talk of new, revamped offensive talent that was coming into the program this offseason, I haven’t seen much of it.

Elijah Hughes has had some good games, but against Cornell he went missing in action. Jalen Carey has also shown glimpses, but the overall improvement hasn’t been seen on the offensive side of the ball. It’s very disappointing considering the fact that, the offense has been the problem for this Syracuse team since the Tyler Ennis squad.

They have no presence inside, and despite what is supposed to be all these great athletes, they NEVER get out and run in fast break situations. I hope to see all of this reversed in this contest against Northeastern, but I have not seen much that would suggest it will get better.

My last complaint is with Boeheim, the legendary head coach said it’s “frustrating and unwatchable” when describing his offense after the Cornell game. Well, maybe I’m mistaken, but doesn’t it fall on the coaches shoulders to correct that, after it has been the teams handicap dating back to the 2013 season? But maybe I’m crazy. Orange win 69-44.
