Andrew Carey (3-3)
Prediction: Syracuse wins 83-64

The Battle of the Boeheims is set to take place tonight in the Carrier Dome. Jimmy on Cornell, will be playing in his second game for the Big Red in the Salt City. His brother Buddy, now on Syracuse will likely see the floor against Jimmy in a game that Syracuse should have no trouble with.

Cornell really struggled against a decent Colgate team, but one that Syracuse ended up beating handily. The defense appears to be much more active with Frank Howard on top of the zone and the big men provided good enough defense and rebounding in the road win at Ohio State. The defense has definitely looked better.

What also has gotten better since the two straight losses in MSG, is the 3-point shooting. They will not be able to replicate the 11-for-24 from 3-point range that they enjoyed in Columbus consistently, but the shooting and shot selection looks better with Howard in the lineup. Even if the shots aren’t all going down, Orange win with their defense and athleticism, 83-64.
