Paul A. Esden Jr. (2-2)
Prediction: Syracuse wins 80-65
Well remind me never to go back to New York City for anything Syracuse related. Wow those performances were pathetic vs Oregon and UConn.
But before you jump off the ledge, we’re only four games into a very long college basketball season. Syracuse being thrown out of the AP top-25 will humble this team and force them to look in the mirror and rededicate themselves to the fundamentals.
Before this team enjoys their Thanksgiving feast, they’ll get a cream-puff appetizer in the form of Colgate.
Let’s just say it has been a long time since Syracuse has lost to Colgate and it’s not happening this year. The Orange are too talented and too deep to lose to an inferior opponent of this caliber, but this team needs to stop with the silly turnovers and try to figure out their point guard situation.
Frank Howard, when he inevitably returns, will not save Syracuse and they’ll then go undefeated the rest of the way, if you believe that, I’d love to have what you are smoking. But he will definitely help and restore order to the lineup, that could come in this Colgate game.
Give me the Orange in dominant fashion on cruise control with SU’s mind on that delicious turkey feast.
