Prediction: Notre Dame pulls away 45-35

In the Big Apple, on the big stage and playing the No. 3 team in the nation. This is what dreams are made of.

Very few would have thought this was possible. This writer disagrees with Dino’s take as this game is a ‘freebie’. It seems to me he is cushioning the blow of a potential loss in a situation where he needs to be tuning up his Orange squad to shoot for the jugular.

Syracuse comes in a 10.5 point underdog with the ESPN matchup predictor having Notre Dame the 75% favorite.

This game will be one to tune in and throw away your remote. As Terrell Owens would say you better get your popcorn ready.

The two key points are will Orange struggle against the tough Notre Dame defense and can the Orange defensive line hold up against the Clydesdales of the Irish offensive line for four quarters of pounding.

I bleed Orange but I don’t think they can keep up for the full game. Notre Dame has too much depth and too much talent. They pull away in 4th Q. Final 45-35.
