4. Early on in the year there’s a quarterback change, what went into that change and what has Ian Book added to this Notre Dame offense?

"Book is a more accurate and efficient passer than Wimbush, and that’s what was needed for this offense to reach its full potential. With a solid stable of running backs and a line that excels at run-blocking, Wimbush’s skill set put a ceiling on how dynamic the offense can be.  Book is able to push the ball downfield to a very good receiving corps — which includes the tight ends. Wimbush is a winner who can will the team to victory if need be, but Book is the best fit when it comes to getting the most out of Notre Dame’s offensive talent."
