Syracuse Basketball plays their second game of the season against Morehead State this weekend. Inside the Loud House gets you ready with what you need to know before tipoff.

Syracuse Basketball cruised in its opener over Eastern Washington, 66-34, a few days ago, according to ESPN.com. It was a far from a perfect performance from our boys in Orange, but it’s still early. The Orange came into that one with health issues at the point which forced star shooting guard Tyus to play extended minutes leading the offense.

Up next Syracuse Basketball will take on the Morehead State Eagles who scored 102 points in their season opening win over Kentucky Christian before falling at UConn 80-70 a few days later.

The Orange will hope to have a better offensive performance against a team that is gritty and has length. Morehead State isn’t a Power 5 team by any stretch as they hail from the Ohio Valley Conference, but they’re no team the Orange should take lightly. This game screams trap game all over it if you’re asking me, but hey maybe i’m wrong.

Syracuse has a talented roster stacked with talent at every position. Oshae Brissett leads this team into game two of the season with 20 points and 8 rebounds against Eastern Washington. The Eagles of Morehead State meanwhile will look to match with 6’7 forward Malek Green who has averaged 16.0 points a game so far and 6.5 rebounds, according to ESPN.com.

The Orange are highly favored by ESPN’s matchup predictor, as they have a 95.1% chance of winning at home. It will be up to this experienced roster to not look ahead at the great games coming up next week on the schedule against UCONN, and Iowa/Oregon, according to Cuse.com

So where can you catch the game Saturday? Well, as always you can see it at home in the Carrier Dome at 7:00pm ET, but if not there you can catch it other ways. The Orange will play on ACC Network Extra, aka the WatchESPN app on you mobile device, tablet and some TV’s that carry the app. That requires you have a cable subscription to the ESPN Family of Networks.
