Prediction: Syracuse wins 85-48

Off to a great start to the season for the Syracuse basketball squad. The lone criticism after that first game was a bad shooting performance from a bunch of guys. The positive? The Orange still won by over 30 points.

This is a real first world problem for the Syracuse basketball team and something head coach Jim Boeheim isn’t used too.

I think in my initial prediction I really disrespected the Syracuse defense. They only gave up 34 points and I projected they’d give up over 60, we need to put some respect on that defense.

Even in game one with multiple new pieces in the 2-3 zone, they looked like they had been working on it for years.

I think we see that level of defense and beyond throughout the rest of the season and I think the offense picks it up as well in another dominant victory over Morehead State.
