Syracuse Basketball: Predictions for contest vs. Morehead State

Prediction: Syracuse wins 80-55

Cuse played tremendous defense against Eastern Washington, but the offense really struggled, only scoring 66 points.

I expect it to be very different against a Morehead State team that just gave up 80 to Connecticut. Syracuse will need to score points if they want to beat UConn/Oregon, so this game is crucial to starting some momentum for that.

I want to see Tyus Battle with more shots, and for Jalen Carey to take charge more at point guard. If they can dominate the game, Cuse will be able to control the tempo easily, and perhaps work on some stuff that they need to master before next week.

Finally, expect the defense to be very good again. I loved the full court pressure that we saw last game, and I think we will see a lot more of that.
