Syracuse Football vs. Louisville: Where to Watch & Listen (TV/Radio Info)
By Josh Peelman
Syracuse Football is rolling following the Orange’s first road win in conference play this season against Wake Forest. Up next: the Louisville Cardinals in Primetime on a Friday night! Inside the Loud House tells you where you can catch the game.
Syracuse Football is having one heck of a season and a homecoming against the struggling Cardinals seems like a storybook ending they deserve. The Orange who have struggled for years have surged to an incredible 7-2 record and 4-2 in ACC conference play, according to ESPN.com, after multiple losing seasons. Now the Orange are nationally ranked in the Top 15 at #13 in the College Football rankings, AP Poll and Coaches Poll. It’s finally exciting to be a Syracuse Football fan again!
The Orange who are wrapping up an incredible season now have one of the ACC’s worst teams up next on the docket. Normally when you think of Louisville Football you think blowout loss for the Orange or the name Lamar Jackson. This year neither of those seem to matter. Lamar Jackson is gone to the NFL and the Orange are now favored. Favored may even be an understatement as the Orange are projected to win by 21 points and ESPN Matchup predictor gives them a 91.9% chance of winning this game.
This Louisville squad comes into this game after being destroyed last week by #2 Clemson, 77-16, and looking for a rebound. Rebound may not be a strong enough word either considering the Cards are 2-7 on the year and have yet to win a conference game this year sitting at an atrocious 0-6 mark.
Syracuse Football meanwhile comes in having won three straight after close losses to Pittsburgh and Clemson on the road. The Orange put the wheels on last week rushing past the Wake Forest Demon Deacons to the tune of 264 yards on the ground and a 41-24 victory.
Both teams come into this game with a lot on the line. For the Cardinals they want to stop the bleeding and pick up their first win in conference play and beat a ranked team on the road in primetime. Heck a win in general would be great I would imagine. It’s been a tough year for the usually dominant Cardinals.
The Orange meanwhile want to finish with an undefeated mark of 6-0 at home, get bragging rights over a team that has beaten them multiple times in previous years, and go into the Notre Dame game next week at Yankee Stadium with a possible Top Ten ranking and a lot of hype. A win there next week would be incredible, if it happens, but first things first!
So where can you watch the game Friday night? Well, firstly you can catch the game at the Carrier Dome since its a home game and Eric Dungey’s last, according to Syracuse.com. If you can’t make it there though that’s okay. This Syracuse Football squad is ranked, so they are on national television ladies and gentleman!
The Orange will be featured in a primetime spot at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. That means you can also catch the game on the WatchESPN app on your TV, mobile device, or tablet. In addition, the game can also be caught on the radio per usual, and on Cuse.com.
It should be a fun last game for Eric Dungey and Company in the Carrier Dome tonight. Our contributors here at Inside the Loud House all have the Orange winning big in this one, and for good reason. This game looks easy, but sometimes looks can be deceiving. Let’s hope that’s not the case tonight! Any other details you need for the game are listed below, per NunesMagician.com. Let’s Go Orange!
