Syracuse Basketball season has finally arrived my friends! The long wait is over as the Syracuse Orange take the court versus Big Sky foe Eastern Washington. The season opener, which is part of the 2K Classic, will be one of many games the Orange will play on their way to Madison Square Garden’s next week, according to Syracuse.com.

The Syracuse basketball squad should be highly favored going into this one as the Orange are projected to be one of the best teams in the nation. Heck, some here at Inside The Loud House even think the Orange may be title contenders come year’s end. Cough, Cough Paul Esden Jr. here’s looking at you mate. I think Paul could be right, this team is special, but it’s definitely a long season.

Let’s just get a win on day one….

Maybe I’m wrong, but my guess is the Eastern Washington Eagles will be a little out of their league, but at least will get a great opportunity to show their stuff in primetime at the Carrier Dome, one the nations best basketball arenas.

The game starts Tuesday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the Carrier ET and should be a fun one. Will it be a sell out? Probably not, but hey its college basketball season again and football season is still ongoing (and Syracuse Football is a Top 15 program) so I’ll let it slide.

That aside, what Orange fans like me have been dying to know is where can we catch the season opener? Well I’m glad you asked. First off you could attend the game. If you’re like me though, that probably won’t happen. So where else can I watch the game?

Well sorry to tell ya folks, but the game will not be on ordinary television. If you want to watch the game you’ll need to do two things. One: have a cable subscription with the ESPN family of networks attached, and two: download the Watch ESPN app on you tablet, mobile device, or TV. From there you will have access to what ESPN calls ACC Network Extra, the Home of ACC sports. Just click the game when gametime starts and you should be good to go.

If you don’t have a cable subscription, you can always catch the game the old fashioned way with Matt Park and the gang on the IMG Sports network at (TK99) 95.5 FM or at (WAER) 88.3AM or as always on Cuse.com, just click Syracuse basketball’s schedule and this games listen icon. Yes, it’s radio, but I’ve been listening to game both and television and radio since I’ve been little and I love it both ways, so make sure you catch a little bit of both all season long!
