Syracuse Basketball: Predictions for opener vs. Eastern Washington

Prediction: Syracuse wins 81-50

Cuse may struggle at times, with the point guard spot being heavily injured, as Frank Howard, Jalen Carey, and Howard Washington are all sidelined waiting to come back.

Cuse still holds a huge advantage talent wise, and should easily dominate on the boards.

I expect Buddy Boeheim to play well, as he started in both exhibitions and contributed mightily. It should also be very interesting to see how Bourama Sidibe and Marek Dolezaj play, as both could be in for big improvements this season.

Nonetheless, it should be an easy victory for Cuse to start out the 2018-19 season.
