Syracuse Football: Wake Forest football gameday prediction

Prediction: Syracuse wins 49-35

Syracuse should be able to pull out this one, and head to 7-2, something almost no one expected heading into the season.

Wake scores the ball fairly well, averaging over 30 points per game. Their run game is also strong, something Cuse has had struggles with. However, Cuse should be able to score often on a Wake defense that isn’t too scary.

Expect Dungey’s string to be a little looser after his performance last week against NC State. I do see a big game out of him, for well over 300 passing yards.

If this prediction does hold true, we could see Cuse jump a few more spots in the College Football Playoff rankings. A playoff spot may be out of reach, but a New Year’s Six Bowl certainly isn’t.
