The Syracuse football team will try to conquer some demons vs Wake Forest on Saturday. Here’s what our experts think about this week’s game.

What a time to be a Syracuse fan. The basketball team is a preseason top 16 team in the country. The football squad is ranked for the first time since 2001 and they’re bowl eligible for the first time since 2013, am I dreaming?

No you aren’t and there’s still four more games on the schedule for the Syracuse football squad to make something happen. Up next they have the opportunity to conquer some long standing Dino Babers demons.

The Orange have yet to win a game in November under Dino and haven’t fared particularly well on the road in conference games either under Babers’ leadership. Can they deliver two birds with one stone?

Additionally how does Syracuse handle success? If history is to repeat itself, Syracuse doesn’t fare well in such scenarios. But perhaps it’s the Orange eggnog I’ve been drinking, but this year feels different, we’ll see if the proof is in the pudding on Saturday. We gathered expert opinions on how this game will play out, here’s what we came up with.
