I don’t think this is the same Syracuse team that folded under pressure over the last two years. Syracuse in 2016 and 2017 were a combined 1-9 following huge wins over No. 17 Virginia Tech and No. 2 Clemson.
This version of the Orange seems to have a different mentality and honestly they need too. Syracuse is traveling to play Pitt, a team they’ve struggled to beat on the road in recent times. The last time these two teams faced off at Heinz Field, the Orange lost a basketball score: 76-61.
This current version of the Pitt Panthers aren’t capable of being that explosive. While this Syracuse team on the other hand is, but we need to see it.
The Orange struggled offensively against Clemson, while dominating on defense and special teams. Orange is the New Fast is never the thing I anticipated letting Syracuse down, go figure.
I’m drinking the Orange Kool-Aid, give me Syracuse by a wide margin. Syracuse gets back on right track with offensive explosion: Syracuse wins 42-18 over the Pitt Panthers.
