The Syracuse football squad will look to bounce back against the Pitt Panthers on the road this week. Can the Orange find a way to win the game?

Man Syracuse was this close to getting the biggest win in program history. This close to making the national rounds again on the media tour. This close to being ranked in the top-25 for the first time since 2001. But alas, it wasn’t in the cards and now Syracuse must move on.

As Dino Babers said in the press conference earlier this week, Clemson is good, but not good enough to beat you twice. Essentially what he’s saying is if you can’t dwelling on not beating them, you’ll allow yourself to be unprepared heading into this upcoming matchup against Pitt.

This game is HUGE for the Syracuse football team. With a loss, the Orange would fall to 4-2 in the midst of a two game losing streak with two weeks to think about it before returning home to play North Carolina.

To get a better scope of this matchup, here’s our gameday prediction (a day early). Here’s who will win and why. Plus some insight into some of the matchups within the matchups.
