4. This Pitt vs Syracuse rivalry has been tight as of late, 4 of the past 6 games have been decided by three points or less, what has been the key to these close games with ever changing personnel and secondly Pitt has dominated at home vs Syracuse, what’s been the difference there?

Neither program has been as consistent as they’d like, and while Pitt has often been better, the Panthers never seem to be a dominant force. It’s classic Pitt to pull off upsets no one expects, but also struggle with opponents they should easily beat. Pitt has dominated at home in large part to boasting more elite talent. We’re talking James Conner, Tyler Boyd, Aaron Donald, Dion Lewis, LeSean McCoy — all guys who have had big games against the Orange at Heinz Field during this streak, and all guys who are still making a major impact in the NFL.
