Which former Syracuse Basketball star has best chance at NBA stardom?

2015. . PF. Washington Wizards. CHRIS MCCULLOUGH

Wait did he even play at Syracuse? Chris McCullough was here for the usual cup of coffee as a one-and-done player, but that was magnified with Chris only playing 16 games for the Orange.

Well if you missed him, you probably missed him in the NBA as well. The most games he has ever played in his three year career is 24 games, hardly a feat you’d want to slap on the refrigerator for mama.

Honestly I don’t know why he hasn’t seemed to figure it out. He’s got the size at 6-foot-11, he’s young (only 23 years old) and has all the potential in the world. I mean he could’t even get playing time with the Brooklyn Nets, what does that tell you?

Well his next opportunity comes way via the city of brotherly love. McCullough will play for the 76ers Summer League squad hoping to make some long term connections and impact while he’s there.

"The Sixers will have summer-league training camp on Sunday through July 4 at their Camden facility. The team will fly to Las Vegas on July 5. The Sixers open the summer league July 6 at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center, per Philly.com."
