Which former Syracuse basketball star can realize their full potential in the NBA in 2018? Here we breakdown the most likely options.

2018 is going to be a pivotal year for a variety of reasons. The Syracuse basketball team will be looking to build upon their Sweet 16 run in last year’s tournament. Many expect them to do exactly that.

The Orange are returning all five starters for the first time since 1999. Plus SU added a ton of quality talent in Jalen Carey, Buddy Boeheim, and Robert Braswell. Perhaps another championship run could be on the horizon?

While several former SU stars are trying to make their mark in the NBA this season and it could be the final chance for many. On the other hand there’s a few stars that have been there for a while trying to get back on top.

With a historic NBA Draft streak ending for the Orange (consecutive first round draft picks 2012-2017), there’s a ton of Orange talent in the pros. But the big question is, who has the best chance at realizing their full potential?
