. Forward. Syracuse Orange. MATTHEW MOYER. D-

Nobody likes giving out bad grades, but Matthew Moyer has the distinction of the worst grade on the team this year. I hate kicking a guy while he’s down, but he just failed to live up to expectations.

Moyer had one game (18 points vs UConn) that had you saying WAIT A MINUTE! Sadly that was the only time you were on the edge of your seat watching Moyer play. I’ll give the kid credit, the kid seems tough and brings some energy.

Sadly that’s all he brought to the table. The only good thing about Moyer transferring is that it opens up a scholarship spot. But who knows what the Orange can do with a scholarship this late in the process.

We all should’ve known that Moyer was leaving after all the Jim Boeheim and Matthew Moyer’s dad beef in the middle of the season. Some people can handle the Boeheim coaching style and some can’t, look no further than Frank Howard (success story) and Moyer who ends up being an example of when something went wrong.
