We decided to sitdown with our sister site Ball Durham (Duke Basketball) to talk Sweet 16 matchup with the Syracuse basketball team.

No one thought that the Syracuse basketball team would be here right now, but they’re here. Everyone expected the Duke Basketball team to be here at the Sweet 16. Despite two Hall of Fame coaches in Jim Boeheim and Mike Krzyzewski.

Battling identities in this game on Friday night. The Orange are playing with house money and no longer have any expectations. To be honest many thought that the Orange didn’t even deserve to be in the tournament so they’re playing with a chip on their shoulders.

While Duke has a slew of future NBA stars and title hopes abound. They already beat SU earlier this season, handedly I might add (16 points). Can they do it again? Will the game be close?
