Syracuse Football: Top 5 Plays of Week 4 Versus LSU (video highlights)
By Josh Peelman
Syracuse Football put up a heck of a fight against LSU in Baton Rouge. Though they came out on the wrong side, they still earned respect. Inside The Loud House brings you the Top 5 Plays of the Game.
Syracuse Football went into Baton Rouge as serious underdogs. In fact, according to NunesMagician.com the Orange were 23.5 point underdogs. Sure enough though, despite all odds, with five minutes to play, the Syracuse Football was still in the game, down only two.
Yeah, Syracuse ended up losing 35-26 because the Orange gave up a touchdown on LSU’s last series, but they put their heart and soul into winning this game and it showed. The Orange did not play their best game, not by a long shot, but they showed the ACC and the nation they will not be an easy out for the rest of the season.
After the game, the players knew they let one get away. Eric Dungey may have took it hardest as he lightly blamed himself for not doing enough when the Orange had a chance to do so. Check out his quote from Syracuse.com:
"“Moral victories? Who cares. We want to win.”"
He’s right. Syracuse Football needs these types of wins to show they can play with the big boys of college football once again. A close loss is still an L on the standings for the year and those can add up fast.

However, sitting at 2-2, Syracuse football still has a long schedule in front of them. That schedule won’t be easy, but they’ll give it their best shot. Here’s hoping the Orange take this loss in stride and use it as fuel starting next week at NC State.
Keep in mind, NC State is a team that just beat Florida State on their own turf so they’re not an easy win either. The Orange have a team that can compete, there’s no question about that anymore. However, they’ll need to hold out on defense at the end of games if they want to get some more wins this season against tough opponents.
So without further ado, let’s take a look at the top 5 noteworthy plays in the game against LSU. Some of them are definitely worth a second look.
