We spoke with ESPN’s Anish Shroff who will be calling the LSU and Syracuse football game on Saturday on ESPN2. Here’s the best moments of that conversation.

What a crazy week of breakdown for this LSU vs Syracuse football matchup. It’s the first road game of the season for the Orange and it couldn’t be against stiffer competition or at a more intimating environment than Death Valley.

LSU is a SEC powerhouse, they have been and continue to be ranked No. 25 in the AP Top 25. Although a week ago they were in the top-12 in the country. What happened? Well they got their patookie’s kicked by Mississippi State 37 to 7. It was a dominant performance that seemingly came out of nowhere.

So safe to say this LSU vs Cuse game won’t be trap game territory. The Tigers should be coming into this game embarrassed and angry. Usually on this segment every week we have a member of the team come on with us, this week LSU didn’t do any extra media availability than they have too. So long story short, my call wasn’t returned, shocker.

So we thought who better to break all this down with than the play-by-play man himself Anish Shroff. Shroff is a Syracuse Alum and he used to work with our morning radio show, Bud and the Manchild. Oh how times have changed. Now he’s a big wig with ESPN and he gave us his thoughts on all the latest with this game and more!
