Well now may be your best chance. Survivor auditions are being held tomorrow here locally in Central New York to get on the show. Details below.

What is Survivor?

Well for those uncultured swine who are asking themselves this question, let me educate you.

It’s a reality show where typically 20 people are dumped on an island and they have to battle each other to be the last man or woman standing.

Survivor first started 17 years ago and has had 34 amazing seasons with wonderful host Jeff Probst.

But to immerse yourself in the world of Survivor, you have to get yourself in the right mindset.

Cue the music.

Most people on planet Earth work a typical 9-5 job, Monday through Friday, to pay the bills. But here’s an opportunity to try something new and mix things up in your life.

You get a chance to go on a vacation to a remote island and have an opportunity to walk away with a million dollars and a life changing experience.

Usually to apply for the show you create a two minute video and send it to:

But if you aren’t technically savvy or you’re more of a “people person” than I’ve got a unique way for you to apply for the show.

IN PERSON!

You can do that thanks to the folks over at the CBS affiliate, WROC-TV in Rochester. Here’s some

More from Inside the Loud House

extra information on what exactly you can do before you arrive:

"While registration begins at 11:30, prospective contestants should also register online on RochesterFirst.com‘s promotion page for the auditions, per NY Upstate official site."

It’s a first come, first serve basis. I’d imagine it’s going to be a packed house at Auction Direct USA at 6520 State Route 96. The auditions will take place from 12 p.m. through 5 p.m. So get there early!

While it should be noted that there’s no guarantee you’ll make it beyond Rochester, so keep that in mind.

If you’re looking for some advice, I’m in a giving mood.

Look if you had one shot. Just one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted, would you capture it? Or just let it slip?

I didn’t just channel my inner Eminem for giggles, this is your chance to change your life. While I’ve applied twice over video and got some feedback but didn’t move on. I’m hoping the third time is the charm.

While I may not be a former NFL superstar, I draw some inspiration from another CNY guy in Brad Culpepper who was on the most recent version of the program.

The rules say to outwit, outplay, and outlast your competition. To enter the proverbial Suvivor octagon you’re going to need more than brute strength.

You’ll have to develop the wherewithal to survive 40 days on an island. Where you’ll have to build your own shelter, find your own food, and quite literally survive while having a camera on you every minute of the adventure. Of course with a group of strangers you’ve never met to spice things up.
