The greatest receiver at least in single-season history is Amba Etta-Tawo. He has one more chance to impress NFL scouts at his Pro Day today.
Amba Etta-Tawo is going through his final preparations ahead of the NFL Draft. The scene is set: the Ensley Athletic Center. The time is set: around 1-2 p.m. Lastly the interview session, which will occur around 4 p.m.
Etta-Tawo has already done most of the leg work, no pun intended, at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine. He successfully ran a sub 4.5 40 yard dash (which was the major hurdle heading in according to the NFL Scout that I talked too.)
While that was one huge barometer for him, he also tested well physically as I reported below.
Etta-Tawo also appeared at the 2017 Reese’s Senior Bowl. Although he didn’t get a chance to compete in the actual game, he had flashes at practice.
The one red flag that came out of that according to a scout I talked too was his inability to get off the line of scrimmage. While he’s physical high-pointing the ball, he isn’t as physical coming off the line of scrimmage.
But this Pro Day should be one of the most highly anticipated SU Pro Days in recent memory. Etta-Tawo already crushed his 40 yard dash, but he has another chance to show off his hands.
Etta-Tawo won’t be the only one performing at this year’s festivities. 13 others will join him: three receivers, two linebackers, five linemen, throw a running back and a tight end in the mix and last but certainly not least, even a kicker not named Riley Dixon, according to Syracuse.com.

Most of these players outside of Brisly Estime aren’t projected to get drafted at the next level. But these players can get on scout’s radar screens for camp invites.
NFL offseason rosters start at 90 players before being whittled down to the final 53. So that leaves over 2,800 openings to be had in the NFL.

Speaking of Estime he’s gotten a few invites most notably the New York Jets who worked him out at their facilities. Estime is projected in the sixth-seventh round range. While Etta-Tawo with his updated combine numbers is projected as a late 2nd round pick to a mid fourth round pick.
