"Paul A. Esden Jr. (@BoyGreen25): There was a lot of pressure on the ladies to perform with the increased attendance and they showed up in a big way. While they didn’t get the win, they did seem to make an impact with the fans who showed up, is it realistic to think we’ll see a large portion of those fans returning in the near future?"

"Brian Higgins (@BrianHigginsSU): Averaging a crowd that size would be nearly unheard of in women’s basketball, only South Carolina averages more than what showed up to the Carrier Dome on Sunday. But to all that came, know that it meant something and helped the team. I’d urge everyone who was there and had a a good time, which best I can tell was most of the crowd, to come back and do it again. Based on my travels with the Orange, the best teams in women’s hoops generally have the best fan bases. So who cares which is the chicken and the egg in this scenario, it would be great to have both the team and attendance in the upper echelon in the country."
