It’s National Signing Day for the Syracuse football team and we have all the latest. We will update this throughout the day as new guys commit.

It’s the day we’ve been waiting for since the Syracuse football season ended, National Signing Day. All of last season the narrative was that Orange head coach Dino Babers didn’t have “his guys”.

He was playing with a team full of Scott Shafer’s players, after today, that’ll no longer be the case. National Signing Day is already under way and throughout the day we’ll keep you updated right here on Inside the Loud House.

Some of Syracuse’s legends from today and yesterday will be helping to announce some of the new recruits today. Babers appears to be pulling out all the stops for his first official NSD.

Perhaps one of the biggest signings for the Orange program is Ifeatu Melifonwu (beat that Amba). A defensive back coming in at 6’3 195 pounds. The number four overall prospect in the Bay State is hoping to transform the Orange secondary.

A great name for hopefully a great SU player. Kingsley Jonathan a 6’3 245 pound DL out of Baltimore

Speaking of big shoes to fill, former first round pick Chandler Jones welcomed in fellow DL Curtis Harper. A Pennsylvanian who comes in at 6’2 300 pounds

One new running back has some huge shoes to fill. Markenzy Pierre was announced by Pro Football Hall of Famer Floyd Little. If he can be half the player Little was, we have a keeper. Pierre is a 5’11 220 pounder.

We all know the Orange defense was pretty bad last year, but with new found experience and an injection of youth this unit looks to improve in 2017. Here’s hoping new DE Brandon Berry a big guy (6’3 230 pounds) can help the cause

He’s got three names to match all his three gears of speed. Up next, Russell Thompson Bishop, WR 6’1 200 pounds

From Compton to eight mile, we have another Syracuse brother joining the family. Zach Morton, DL and has a nice frame (6’4 220 pounds)

Versatility is the name of the game and that’s very much the case for our next Orange recruit. Chris Elmore plays fullback and defensive tackle (6’0 280 pounds)

We all remember, ‘Straight Out of Compton’, well lets get ready for Tyrell Richards who is ‘Straight Out of Canada’. Babers went north of the border on this one, 6’3 220 pound linebacker.

Next up is another great prospect. Three star WR Cam Jordan 6’3 195 pounds out of Long Island.

Amba Etta-Tawo was a pleasant surprise last year through the grad-transfer process. So it’s only fair that he’d introduce us to a brand new toy for this offense in WR Nykeim Johnson 5’8 165 pounds soaking wet.

More linebacker help for the Orange with the addition of Kadeem Trotter from Canton, Ohio. Maybe he’ll end up right back in Canton if we play those cards right. Trotter is 6’2 195 pounds of man.

This one has been reported for some time but today it became official. Allen Stritzinger running back (6’0 190 pounds)

Syracuse continues to get players from the sunshine state, which is a recruiting hot bed for Dino Babers. Aaron Hackett is the latest star to join the squad. A 6’3 230 pound tight end is a beast and should do wonderful things in this high-octane Babers offense.

Finally our first home state New York boy joins the class. Lets welcome, Eric Coley, cornerback (6’2 175 pounds)

More beef to the offensive line, which never hurts, Dakota Davis, (6’5 315 pounds) out of Maryland.

Lets add some speed to the wide receiver position with Sharod Johnson (5’11 170 pounds)

And the one we’ve been waiting for a very long time. The future of the program Tommy DeVito was announced by Ryan Nassib. DeVito will make his official announcement on ESPN2 at 1:35 PM. DeVito’s current measurements (6’2 200 pounds)

Former All-Pro receiver, Rob Moore, announced Nadarius Fagan’s addition out of Miami South Ridge High School. Fagan plays linebacker (6’1 200 pounds)

We’ve got former Orange and current New York Giants OL Justin Pugh announcing some help up front for Eric Dungey. Pat Davis (6’5 300 pounds)

SU is adding some beef to their tight end depth chart with the addition of Ravian Pierce (6’3 225 pounds)

Former Syracuse linebacker, Doug Hogue announced fellow JUCO lb, Ryan Guthrie (6’2 215 pounds)
