I hate to do this, but Dungey fell back a spot to third in our rankings. He has not regressed per se, but he has struggled now that we are playing real competition. He still passed for 350 yards yet again this week, but he also had two interceptions.

He continues to be the leader of this team and is the star player we love to talk about, but his teammates needs to help him out. He is sadly not enough to win ball games against quality Power 5 programs like Louisville and South Florida.

The only reason he dropped this week was because he had those two picks. He still completed 32 of 48 passes good for a 67% completion percentage. That is about on par with how he had done up to this point meaning not much has changed. He just needs to play a bit smarter next week, and maybe his defense will help him secure his second win of the season versus Uconn. Expect Dungey to be back in the Top 2 in our rankings next week.

Next: 2. Ervin Phillips
