Tyler Roberson- 0 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 turnover, 0-3 from the field

What happened to Tyler? He was like a disappearing act on the court last night. His offense was non-existent, as he clanked all three of his shots badly. His defense was ok, but nothing that really stood out. And his rebounding, something he was supposed to dominate with his added strength and conditioning, was adequate at best.

Five rebounds in 21 minutes isn’t terrible, but it’s certainly not what I’d expect from him given what we saw last year. He’s going to really need to step up his game in the coming weeks to prove that he has some offensive ability. He did make a couple nice drives to the hoop early in the game, but couldn’t finish at the rim.

I give Roberson an overall grade of D+. That might seem harsh, but he just didn’t show up last night. I can’t recall more than a few times that he actually did anything on the court. His offense in particular was worrisome. Hopefully it was just a bad game and he can shake it off and come out firing on Tuesday.
