Recently, Syracuse basketball 2025 signee Kiyan Anthony and his teammates with a surging New York program battled some of the top teams in the country at The Throne, a national tournament held in East Rutherford, N.J.

The 6-foot-5 Anthony, a four-star shooting guard and a top-30 national prospect in his class, caught fire at this event, and his squad, Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y., ending up cutting down the nets.

What's more, according to posts on X, Anthony saved his best performance for his last one, landing MVP honors in guiding Long Island Lutheran to The Throne title.

Per statistics provided by our friends at Legit Sport Stats, in the championship game, Anthony poured in 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field, to go along with five rebounds and three assists.

Syracuse basketball 2025 four-star commit Kiyan Anthony went off in recent days.

In The Throne's quarterfinal round, Anthony tallied 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field. He had three rebounds and two assists, but also five turnovers.

In a blowout semifinal victory for Long Island Lutheran, Anthony contributed 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field. He also had one board, one dime and one block.

In the early part of the 2024-25 campaign, Anthony missed some time due to an injury, and Long Island Lutheran got off to a sluggish start to this term. However, the Crusaders are arguably the hottest team in the country these days.

Early next month, Long Island Lutheran is one of 10 elite squads that will compete for a high school national championship at the annual Chipotle Nationals, which this year is being held in Fishers, Ind., near Indianapolis.

Long Island Lutheran is the event's No. 3 seed. This recent article will let you know how to watch Anthony and other Syracuse basketball recruits in the 2025 Chipotle Nationals.

Anthony is one of four signees in the Orange's 2025 class, which is currently ranked No. 10 nationally by the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. Three of the team's 2025 commits are rated four stars.

One of them is four-star forward and top-30 national prospect Sadiq White Jr., a standout senior at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., which also earned a berth in the upcoming Chipotle Nationals.
