With at least 89 points in each of their last two games, the 11-11 Syracuse Orange look to extend their winning streak to three when they host the sputtering 11-11 Louisville Cardinals today at 2:00 PM EST. WynnBET has the Orange as 7-point favorites and -300 on the moneyline (bet $30 to win $10) while the over/under is 145.5.

Syracuse vs Louisville Prediction

Everyone take cover quick, because the volcano Mount veSyracuse is ACTIVE, baby! The Orange followed up a 10-19 shooting performance from beyond the arc against Wake Forest by shooting 11-19 against NC State. They should have success again today against a free-falling Cardinals team that ranks 164th nationally in 3-point defense.

Louisville has been a disaster lately. They fired their coach last week and recently suspended Malik Williams, who at the time of his suspension was the only player on the team who averaged at least 10 points a game or at least five rebounds a game. That’s not good.

The Cardinals did take North Carolina to overtime in their last matchup, but they never would have stood a chance if not for a bizarre game from Caleb Love in which he went 3-18 from the field with four turnovers. And now they’re tired against a Syracuse offense that ranks 13th in adjusted efficiency.

While the Orange have been hot and covered the spread in three of their last four home games, Louisville is just 1-8 against the spread (ATS) in their last nine and is just 1-5-1 ATS on the road this season. They’re 1-5 ATS as an underdog and haven’t covered since November. Don’t forget, most of these games were with Malik Williams.

This is an easy one for me. I’m on Syracuse -7 (-110) in a battle between two teams headed in completely opposite directions. Mount veSyracuse is firing hot lava with every splash of the net while someone forgot to pay the heat bill at Louisville and they’re stuck in a snowstorm. One team is hot, one team is freezer-cold.
