Syracuse basketball 2022 four-star commit Chris Bunch has produced some monster games in recent days as his prep-school squad rides a nice success streak.

The 6-foot-7 Bunch, a consensus top-100 prospect in his cycle, is ranked in the top-60 overall according to 247Sports, with that recruiting service also placing him as a top-20 small forward in the 2022 class.

He is a senior at the Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah, a really good prep-school team that has suffered some setbacks early in the 2021-22 campaign while suiting up against a lot of elite competition.

However, more recently, the Wasatch Academy is on a bit of a roll, and Bunch has fared quite well scoring the ball and doing other strong things on the court as well.

According to media reports, the Wasatch Academy went 3-0 at the recently held 2021 Jerry Tarkanian Classic, which took place at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.

In one contest at the Jerry Tarkanian Classic, Bunch collected 27 points as the Wasatch Academy defeated the Edge School, a Canadian team in Calgary, Alberta, by a final count of 71-57, according to a tweet from Dinos Trigonis, who publishes a recruiting service and Web site called Fullcourt Press.

In a separate recent encounter, Bunch really stuffed the stat sheet as the Wasatch Academy triumphed over West Jordan High School in West Jordan, Utah, by a margin of 84-78, according to MaxPreps.

Per a tweet from The HS Circuit, Bunch generated 24 points, six rebounds and six assists in his team’s win. MaxPreps, by the way, provides current updates on the Wasatch Academy’s record, if you’re interested in following how Bunch and the Tigers are performing.

In his latest national top-25 rankings on theseasonticket.com, analyst and scout Samad Hines has arranged the Wasatch Academy at No. 13 across the country.

Bunch, an athletic wing who is regarded by some analysts and scouts as one of the best perimeter shooters in the 2022 cycle, picked the ‘Cuse over Rutgers and Washington in October. He has signed his national letter of intent to compete for Syracuse basketball.
