Let’s get you all caught up on where Syracuse basketball targets in the class of 2022 reside in the latest national ratings from Rivals.com.

Recruiting service Rivals.com has unveiled its latest national rankings for high-school players in the 2022 class, and a range of Syracuse basketball targets have seen their ratings increase or decrease.

Before we get to possible future recruits for the Orange, we’ll begin with a current 2022 commit, five-star point guard Dior Johnson, who is No. 4 in the new Rivals.com rankings. Johnson, who pledged to the ‘Cuse this past February, attends the Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va.

Jarace Walker, a five-star small forward from the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., checks in at No. 12, down two positions.

Johnson’s Oak Hill Academy teammate, Zion Cruz, moved up two spots, to No. 21 overall. Cruz is rated as four stars by Rivals.com, although other recruiting services have him as a five-star prospect.

Four-star guard Chance Westry, with the Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Calif., is unchanged at No. 26. Donovan Clingan, a four-star center with Bristol Central High School in Bristol, Conn., improved by one position, to No. 45 nationally.

Roddy Gayle Jr., a four-star guard from Lewiston-Porter High School in Youngstown, N.Y., fell by two slots to No. 54. Kamari Lands, a four-star small forward who recently transferred to Prolific Prep in Napa Valley, Calif., is down one position to No. 58.

Justin Taylor, a four-star wing at the St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Charlottesville, Va., dropped 10 placements to No. 63.

Four-star small forward Ty Rodgers, from Grand Blanc Community High School in Grand Blanc, Mich., lost one spot to No. 75.

J.J. Starling, a Syracuse-area product and four-star point guard who recently headed to the La Lumiere School in La Porte, Ind., is down seven placements to No. 99.

Four-star small forward Yann Farrell, who attends the Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H., fell by eight to No. 101 nationally. Finally, four-star small forward Chris Bunch, out of De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif., dropped seven spots to No. 109 overall.
