1. Steve Ishmael Randy Mosses It

This play got a ton of attention this week and for good reason. Randy Moss, a future hall of fame wide receiver, said Ishmael Randy Mossed this play this week. He was spot on in his assessment which is why it is the top play this week.

Syracuse Football was on their own 39 yard line, facing a Third and Eight, Dungey went back to pass. The offensive line immediately crumbled but Dungey got the ball away in time. He immediately looked to his right to find Ishmael running a post route deep along the right sideline.

Dungey heaved it long and true, but just a little high for Ishmael or the defender to reach. Luckily, Ishmael has a knack for those kinds of balls so he jumped up and hauled it in with the tips of his hands and brought it back to his chest for the huge gain. The thing that made this so memorable was the defender was right in Ishmael’s face the whole time, yet he still was able to jump up above him and haul that in. The catch would result in a 32 yard gain for the Orange and set them up for a field goal.
