As always, the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team will be playing two exhibition games to prepare for the regular season in November. The games were announced on Monday, One of the teams is actually a familiar foe.
The first of the two games will against a Canadian college team the Orange faced on their summer tour in 2013, Carleton. The Orange were trailing by as many as 15 to this team and barely squeaked out a 69-65 overtime victory. This team is very good, though, having won four straight Canadian Interuniversity Sport championships and have won 10 of the last 12 national titles. That game will be at the Carrier Dome on November 2nd.
The second game will be against Adrian College, a Division III program that went 5-20 last season. Hailing from Michigan, they play in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
More scheduling for the upcoming basketball season should be coming in August. As all of us here at Inside the Loudhouse are excited as you are for the season to start, stay tuned for updates.
