Just because he wasn’t drafted doesn’t mean that C.J. Fair can’t make some noise in the summer league. Well, on Monday night in Las Vegas, the former Syracuse forward threw down the dunk of the night for the Dallas Mavericks.
In the third quarter with the Mavericks up by almost 30 points on the Toronto Raptors, Fair was coming down on the fast break and threw the lefty hammer down on Bruno Caboclo.

Fair had some big dunks during his Syracuse career, most recently the dunk at the Maui Invitational that left him with a cut under his eye, so this is not new for Fair, but doing it on the Summer League stage while looking to make an NBA roster is huge publicity for Syracuse’s leading scorer this past season.
The Mavericks went on to win the game 88-57, improving to 2-1 in three games in Las Vegas so far. Fair had seven points on 3-7 shooting and grabbed four rebounds. So far in all three games, he has scored 12 points on 5-11 shooting and has brought down seven rebounds.
