Syracuse Orange Commit Tyler Lydon Makes USA U18 Team

Syracuse Orange class of 2015 commit Tyler Lydon made the roster for the USA U18 team on Sunday. Lydon received the opportunity to come out for the team after three other invited players declined their invitations, and he took advantage.

Lydon, the 6’8″ forward currently ranked 59th in ESPN’s top 100 for the Class of 2015 from Pine Plains, N.Y. is joined by 11 other talented youngsters under the age of 18 who will be competing in the USA hosted FIBA Americas U18 Championship starting in Colorado Springs, Colo. starting on June 20th.

Isaiah Briscoe, the 20th ranked player in the Class of 2015 by ESPN and fifth overall shooting guard, also made the team. He is currently considering attending Syracuse amongst other schools.
