Defenseman Kevin Rice and attackman Brandon Mullins of the Syracuse Orange men’s lacrosse team were named to the All-ACC team on Wednesday.
Rice and Mullins were two of 18 players named to the team from the six team conference. All of the coaches in the league voted on the team but were not allowed to vote for any of their own players. The Maryland Terrapins had the most players named with five.
Rice and Mullins are both receiving this honor for the first time in their careers. Rice scored 26 goals this season and leads the Orange in points (54), assists (28) and assists per game (2.33). Mullins led the Orange this past season in caused turnovers (12). The Orange play their next game on Friday against Duke in the semifinal round of the ACC Tournament. Faceoff is at 5 p.m. ET.
