With the regular season finished, it is time in college basketball for the announcement of All-Conference teams and awards,. Three Syracuse players were given different honors by the ACC on Monday.
C.J. Fair was named first team All-ACC by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association along with Jabari Parker of Duke, T.J. Warren of North Carolina State, K.J. McDaniels of Clemson and Marcus Paige of North Carolina. Tyler Ennis was named to second team All-ACC and Jerami Grant was an honorable mention for the Orange. The ACC coaches also voted Fair to their All-ACC first team along with Parker, Warren, Paige and Virginia’s Malcolm Brogdon. Ennis was voted to the second team by the coaches and Grant was an honorable mention.
Ennis was also named to both the ACSMA’s and the coaches’ All-ACC Freshman team along with Parker, Devin Wilson of Virginia Tech, London Perrantes of Virginia and Kennedy Meeks of North Carolina. Ennis was also an All-ACC Defensive team selection for both the ACSMA and coaches teams. He led the conference with 2.07 steals per game this season.
The ACC tournament will be taking place in Greensboro, North Carolina starting this Wednesday.
